Experience the Gobi and Terelj National Park: a 9-day authentic adventure

Day 1. Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar on Saturday evening, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel (no meal or hotel included on this day).
Day 2. Today’s journey takes us to Tsagaan Suvraga, a remarkable white cliff formation. The cliffs, also called the "White Stupa," stand tall and majestic, offering a view that is both surreal and unforgettable. We will stay at a tourist camp and enjoy lunch and dinner. (L/D)
Day 3. We will explore the beautiful Yol Valley, a picturesque gorge surrounded by cliffs. Known for its stunning landscapes and wildlife, this valley is a perfect destination for a short hike and horse riding. (B/L/D)
Day 4. The adventure continues as we head to the stunning Khongor Sand Dunes, where you will stay in a local guesthouse and experience the vast desert landscape, again with all meals included. Enjoy a thrilling camel ride across the dunes to further explore the area. (B/L/D)
Day 5. We’ll visit Bayanzag, famously known as the Flaming Cliffs, which is a rich site of dinosaur fossils. As you walk through this breathtaking location, you’ll see red sandstone cliffs glowing under the sunlight and learn about the fascinating history of dinosaur discoveries. It’s a highlight for both history enthusiasts and nature lovers. You will stay at a guest house. (B/L/D)
Day 6.  We head to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, another impressive rock formation, before visiting a local nomadic family. You’ll experience traditional Mongolian hospitality and gain insight into the nomadic lifestyle, learning about their customs, food, and way of life. Note: The nomadic family doesn't have a shower, but it is worth staying with them. (B/L/D)
Day 7. We travel to Terelj National Park and visit the massive Genghis Khan Statue Complex at Tsonjin Boldog before spending the night in a guesthouse with full board. Turtle Rock (Melkhii Khad) is a massive rock formation that resembles a turtle and is a popular photo spot. The Aryabal Meditation Temple, located on a hilltop, offers peaceful surroundings and panoramic views after a short hike. (B/L/D)
Day 8.  We return to Ulaanbaatar for a city tour, including visits to the National Museum and a traditional folk performance, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. (B/L/D)
Day 9. On the final day, you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure.
